Challenge Statement
As the UX Designer, I collaborated with a UI designer to enhance the visual design and led the User Experience Review. This involved assessing the information architecture, product strategy, interaction design, and copy adjustments. The project was completed during the Global pandemic, where Video Facilitator’s services were in high demand. The majority of their clientele comprised sales exhibitions and universities that had shifted to virtual platforms due to the pandemic. Video Facilitator provided the unique feature of hosting multiple sessions in a day, allowing users to move freely between rooms hosted by different speakers.
Challenge Statement
My focus as the UX Designer was to clarify the business objectives and create an effortless user engagement. We aimed to position the product as a tool for creating an engaging and interactive space for participants. We wanted to offer the freedom to explore different rooms, engage through polls and interact in breakout areas, just like an in-person event.
The landing page’s final design on the right demonstrates how we achieved a fun and open user experience, catering to the brand’s essence

Each design was crafted with meticulous attention to detail, combining appealing graphics and easy-to-digest information. Through this approach, we were able to demonstrate how the brand could be brought to life in a way that was both engaging and impactful. What our customers say
From Video Facilitator to Berst.io: How a Rebranding Helped Enhance the User Experience
Video Facilitator aimed to become the first virtual meeting rooms software with a multi-room functionality while also improving the aesthetics and personality of their mobile responsive website. Working in partnership with a UI Designer, my role was to conduct a thorough review of the user experience, including button placement, copy, and information architecture to align with the company’s unique selling proposition. This review was conducted during the Global Pandemic when Video Facilitator’s audiences were highly engaged, as businesses were compelled to host sales exhibitions and university open days remotely through collaboration software. The UX review focused on increasing the clarity of Video Facilitator’s USP, thereby enhancing user engagement with the product. Additionally, the UI refresh aimed to unify the company’s logo with the website while creating a fun and approachable branding.
Following the successful rebranding project of Video Facilitator, the company was renamed to berst.io. The rebranding effort focused on creating a new brand identity that would align with the company’s mission and values, while also reflecting its unique personality. The visual design principles that were established during the Video Facilitator project were carried over to the berst.io design, ensuring consistency and a cohesive brand identity.
The berst.io design team aimed to create a modern and innovative look and feel, while maintaining a friendly and approachable tone. The new brand name and visual identity were intended to reflect the company’s commitment to providing an easy-to-use virtual meeting platform that delivers exceptional user experience. The design team also focused on enhancing the website’s mobile responsiveness and usability, with the goal of creating an engaging and seamless experience for users on all devices.
Overall, the rebranding project was a success and helped the company to position itself as a leading player in the virtual meeting rooms industry. The new brand identity and website design have received positive feedback from users and stakeholders, and have contributed to an increase in engagement and conversions.
